Who we are

Evansville Garage Epoxy is a local quote service for garage floor epoxy and concrete coatings. When you send us a request, we look at what you need, help you make sense of the options and connect you with a local coating installer who can look at your floor and give you a written quote. You get one clear point of contact instead of calling around and comparing quotes that are written in completely different ways.

Most of the floors we hear about are ordinary two-car garages: stained, a little cracked, dusty every time someone sweeps, and cold and dull in winter. Some are basements, a few are workshops or small commercial bays. Whatever the space, the questions are usually the same: what system should I use, what will it cost and how long will it last?

Our standards

Three things we hold every quote to, no matter which floor or which town.

Honest price ranges

The numbers on this site are typical installed ranges, not teaser prices. A solid-color epoxy floor usually runs $5–$8 per sq ft and a polyaspartic flake system $6–$12 per sq ft. Your real price depends on the condition of your slab, which is why it comes from an on-site look. See the full breakdown in our garage floor epoxy cost guide.

Proper prep, every time

Most coating failures trace back to the concrete, not the product. A good job starts with diamond grinding to open the surface, then crack and chip repair, then the base coat. We point you toward installers who treat prep as the main event. Read how a typical job goes on our process page.

Clear, written quotes

A quote should say what system goes down, how the floor will be prepared, which repairs are included, how long the cure takes and what the written warranty terms are. If anything is vague, ask, and ask for it in writing before you agree to a start date.

Why the Tri-State is hard on garage floors

Garage floors around here take a beating. The city of Evansville had 6,000 tons of salt ready for the January 2026 storm, and that salt rides into garages on tires and slush all winter. Summers are humid, with a muggy stretch that runs roughly from May into October, which affects how coatings cure. Many homes are older, too: the median home in Evansville was built in 1961, so plenty of slabs have decades of oil stains, sealers and cracks. A coating that suits these conditions, installed on a properly prepared slab, is what we try to help you get.

Area we serve

We take quote requests from Evansville and across the Tri-State, including Newburgh, Henderson KY, Boonville, Mount Vernon, Princeton, Chandler, Darmstadt, McCutchanville, Haubstadt, Fort Branch and Poseyville. See the full list with notes on each town on our service areas page. If your town is not listed but is nearby, send a request anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

What we don't do

We don't pad our pages with ratings we can't show you or promises we can't keep. We don't pressure anyone into a system they don't need. If a cheaper solid-color epoxy fits your garage better than a premium metallic finish, that's what we'll tell you. Have questions first? Our FAQ covers the common ones, or just request a free quote and ask.
